January 2006, Boba (Drums, 18), Ben (Bass, 18), Rucko (Lead guitar/Vocals, 19), Will (Lead Vocals, 21) and Joe (Guitar and Backing Vocals, 21) step into a rehearsal studio on Hedon road, Hull. They plug in their guitars and AfterGlow is born! 7 days later the band play their 1st gig at the Bell and Crown, Snaith. A month after forming AfterGlow record their 1st demo. The band soon find them selves travelling up and down the country in their ex police riot van, playing an almost constant nation wide gig schedule, performing for the likes of Carling, HMV, XFM and Kerrang. In the months that follow, a rehearsal room ban, a 2nd studio demo and a police escort out of Chorley all occur!
