DJ FM has been producing original dance/hybrid music since 1997 and has written over 90 original songs; 4 songs were released on Beatport and 7 songs were featured on 5 different television shows, including MTV's Real World and Making the Band (from 1999 on), among others. His debut album, Breakup, was featured in CMJ (College Music Journal) and selected as one out of ten finalists in the Sennheiser Evolution Band Competition. FM's musical tastes are very diverse and his productions have spanned the gamut of downtempo, house, alternative, hard rock, trance, and drum & bass. As a multi-instrumentalist, he engages the crowd as not only a DJ, but also by playing guitar, bass, and keys (frequently during his sets).
