This CD was influenced through pressing times as Marisa and Scott were challenged to examine their convictions about Jesus Christ and salvation. We have concluded that the requirement is "That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10 Marisa was born and now resides in Eugene, OR. Studied classical violin for 10 years and has played independently for the past 11 years. She taught herself how to play the piano by ear in high school, quickly followed by guitar in college. She met Scott, her husband now of 7 years, in California on a missions project in the summer of 2000. After moving to Indiana, Scott's home, they traveled with Purdue University's Campus Crusade worship band, "Broken String", in the summer of 2001. After recording their first album, East of Everything - Angel's Wings, in West Lafayette, Indiana, they moved to Nashville, Tennessee where they lived for 3 years. Marisa and Scott have two daughters Emma and Leah. Marisa "Worship" was completed just after Leah's arrival in March 2010.
