The songs on this album mean a lot to me; they mean a lot to us as a nation. I believe it is our duty to carry these works of art into the next generation, as they are a part of our history as Americans. They were performed by the greatest stars of their day in a time when stars were entertainers who could do it all. This was what inspired me to create my own show in which I could bring back the glory days: the most superior artists artists ever known, interpreting the greatest music ever written. Working on this album has been a project of love and inspiration. I have had the chance to sing some of my favorite songs from the great American songbook and work with some of the most talented musicians and recording people from the Las Vegas Strip. I have strived to bring the same energy and excitement that I capture on stage in my live show, to this album. I hope I have succeeded in doing so. At the very least, I now I have created something that will be enjoyable to listen to and will bring people back to a time when golden age of music was thriving.
