Featured on multiple taste making blogs, including the Majestic Network, Nest HQ, and Secret Shores, the nohidea. project began in late 2016 with one motif in mind - to shroud the ever-present egotism that inseminates modern day artistic endeavour. With a total of 7 albums currently available to the public - 5 of which were released in 2017 alone - this is merely the beginning of the legacy that is nohidea. Heavily inspired by J-Dilla and Flying Lotus, nohidea creates a sonic environment meant to not only captivate the listener, but also conjure and evoke a multitude of sensitivities in the mind of one, such as nostalgia, and the plethora of emotions that come with that evocation. Aptly so, nohidea has been slated to release on the wearealaya gallery, is featured on Spotify as one of the 'kings of hip hop' and is currently in the midst of creating a lifestyle brand of it's own right, that doubles as a musical label/social imprint. I'd like to personally thank anyone and everyone that has listened to the music of nohidea, and has supported the trajectory of the project thus far. We're just getting started.
