Cuban singer-songwriters Super David and Sonik, better known as SDS, is an urban music duo that aspires to bring popular dance music to the greatest number of people possible. Super David and Sonik collaborated on numerous songs together while pursing independent careers, until reconnecting in Houston in 2015 when they decided to join forces and form SDS. David Carillo, aka Super David, was born November of 1984 in Havana, Cuba to a musical family. Throughout the years he had various musical projects that include forays into Cuban Salsa, Reggaeton, and Hip Hop as he grew in renown in the music world. Isael Urgelles, aka Sonik, was born February of 1984 in Havana, Cuba. His passion for music was not discovered unto 2010, when he decided to put music to his compositions, dabbling in Bachata, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, and other musical genres.
