Charlie has a unique way of connecting with children, whether he is on TV performing with them, writing songs for them or teaching them piano or Little Fingers Music. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where he holds an Honours Degree in Theory & Composition. He has also studied at University of Toronto, the Royal Conservatory of Music and with Kendall Taylor at the Royal College of Music London. He considers himself a singer/songwriter (he has received four songwriter grants from FACTOR, Toronto & Ontario Arts Council Grants and recorded CD's in New York and Toronto) as much as he does a music educator and director of a music studio he started building eight years ago. His love of pop culture and respect for serious music gives him an original and fun approach to teaching and writing music for young students. He released a CD single entitled," Your Face Was Made For Halloween and is currently working on an 18 song CD due out before the winter break. Cars, Trains & Aeroplanes (commissioned by the Peel Heritage Complex) is currently part of art show featuring the works of American painter Roy Deforest . Charlie's music is currently available (the sheet music and CD with Charlie singing) through Dave Snider Music, Edward's Record World, and at Charlie's studio in Cedarvale
