In 2011, a wayward group of expats met in an obscure corner of the globe and started a rock band. After growing into a cohesive unit, Denizen laid down their first tunes as a live recording. These raw materials quickly turned into frontman Michael McFarlane's full-fledged freshman endeavor to create a lasting album to fully communicate the band's musical ideas. The band was still experimenting with a variety of genres from California Rock, Seattle grunge, to Crosby, Stills, Nash Country Rock. Often compared to the Pixies and Tom Petty meeting The Beatles with Kurt Cobain. Horus Chorus set the stage for McFarlane and the ever-evolving Denizen to create the band's ultimate achievement, 2014's Decade Lost.
