This album was inspired by a librarian (Kathy Klatt), who began and coordinated "Cuddletime Concerts" for babies at the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Library. My audiences had generally been targeted to school-ages, so performing for babies seemed daunting. However, the concert soon grew and was so well-attended, I was inspired to compose material that was specifically for babies and lyrically relevant for parents and babies. There are now two albums that are the result of those early experiences with new parents and their babies. This is the first. The material was tested thoroughly with parents and assorted playgroups throughout the U.S., as well as some early childhood experts. The songs contain a wealth of skill-building activity songs that will help enhance babies' development.
