Contemporary jazz from top Czech jazz trio (piano, bass, drums). The latest Robert Balzar Trio album was recorded during a rewarding April 2013 trip to New York City. A three-day session at Sear Sound with renowned engineer James Farber at the board resulted in the guys putting most of their current repertoire on tape. "Discover Who We Are" features some of Robert's original songs, a couple originals by new pianist Jiří Levíček as well as some carefully-chosen covers. Producer Dan Stomierosky said after the session, "The guys played their hearts out and the session was fantastic! James captured a very rich, natural sound for the Trio and I can't wait to get this project out the door so people can hear it!"
