I have been playing music out of the LDS hymnbook since I was quite young, but it was not till a few years ago that I started writing my own arrangements of these hymns by looking at the chords underneath the melody. When I started doing this my piano playing become so much more beautiful and infused with passion, and now this has become one of my favorite ways to play piano, to take a song and make it my own.
