Colombia meets Spain as producers Deetech and Alex Young join forces and headline Kuukou release number 14, encasing two original tracks adjoined by two remixes. "Impressionante" leaves no room for any other reaction, kicking in swiftly for the get go. A highly immersive and fast paced rhythmical exercise, the track punches along a heady bassline and mesmerizing vocals. A spacious production, leaving plenty of room for the percussion to shine, giving the track a shimmer not found on any rework. Berliner Daniel Boon dives in on the remix, amping up the punch factor with a hard hitting drum arrangement. What results is a super charged piece, with an understated breakdown that’s sure to get the dancefloor going. On the flipside, Moe Danger’s reinterpretation of the title track is deep and dubby, offering a more laid back yet still highly danceable version of the original. "Bedford Ave" comes about as a percussion-driven piece with a subtle melody and wavy synths. Zig- zagging about in a spiralling frenzy, it’s the perfect construction for passing on into the after hours.
