In the early 1970's we began our amateur theatrical career with Theatre Brantford. Marilyn backstage, Bob and the kids, Dean and Alyson out front. Who knew, singing, dancing, and acting, would lead to this. In 2001, Bob's tribute to Elvis, was launched entering competitive performances and opening doors to a new world of fans, friends, and experiences. Within a few short years Marilyn joined the ranks, participating on stage in a comedic fashion. We found a sweet location to perform during the winter months at Birdies on The Green, Rockley, Barbados. We have performed the music of a variety of artists on this album for your enjoyment, with special emphasis by Bob paying tribute to the music of Gordon Lightfoot and Frank Sinatra. A special thanks to our son, Dean for his untiring devotion to bringing this album to life through his wonderful vocal coaching and recording skills. After 53 years of marriage, there is no doubt "of or love for each other" and why we chose to name our full length CD..... "You're My Best Friend"
