1974 was just one in a number of continuing years that offered some of the best music of this century - and the music of Unicorn rides at the top of that list. From their decidedly country rock flair with a distinctly British twist, this band made a heavy impression on me from the first note. It certainly didn't hurt that Pink Floyd's David Gilmour produced the band after hearing them perform at a wedding, no less. This album was released in the USA under the name "Unicorn" with the successor being called "Unicorn 2." In actuality, Blue Pine Trees is the 2nd LP. Very confusing.
