Althoff and Pedro Poyart are new faces on Dantze and are bringing a touch of their Brazilian heritage with them. As the name of the EP ‚Amazonia‘ already reveals, can’t the tribal influence be neglected. Especially the amount of percussions used in each track underlines the native influence. The song ‚Amazonia‘ comes by as the most catchy due to a smooth rattling bass and the flute like keys. ‚Colosseo‘ is the most tribal influenced track which comes from the leading drums and flute giving the piece the character of a summoning ritual. The specialty of ‚Planete Sauvage‘ is, that it goes all of a sudden from 0 to 100 energy wise and impresses with the juicy synth and the energetic bongos.
