Produced by Derek Chafin, with two bonus tracks Try A Little Kindness, produced by Vinnie Zummo (Joe Jackson) and All My Loving,produced by Michael Bartolo, this album, is in EVERY sense of the word a true exercise in positivity and CONNECTIVITY... we are all ONE! Though Jim usually writes and records original songs, the whole idea and essence of THIS album was to record OTHER folks' tunes, songs that Jim had been singing live for a time and that had strongly resonated with, SO, Jim gathered as many of the friends who had written and performed most of these songs as he could together for the project, as well as other musicians who he had worked with earlier to appear on the album, Texas singer/musician/mainstay Sara Hickman appears in a duet on one of her compositions, Latin pop icon and multiple Grammy-nominee Aleks Syntek appears in a duet with Jim as well, and three of his songs are presented here in English form for the first time on an official recording. Vinnie Zummo (Joe Jackson guitarist), Conrad Korsch ( singer/songwriter, Rod Stewart bassist), and Mister Zero (Canadian rock legends The Kings) all appear and lend their amazing talents and energies to the party too, as well as numerous other phenomenal musicians and, most importantly, HUMAN BEINGS!!! This record was a totally, 100% POSITIVE experience to make, and that energy flows from the songs to the listener, further spreading that groovy CONNECTIVITY vibe farther out into the world.
