A native of Georgia, and the son of two preachers, he’s coming from a strong Christian background. He spent some of his time in church, playing keyboard and drums for his uncle’s church, while behind the vocals of “Lil Scrappy’s” mom & dad. (“Decatur where it’s Greater”) Years Active: 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s Age: 35 Gary R. Burse (known as DJ Jazzy G or GB) was born June 2, 1971 in Atlanta, Ga. His nicknames stemmed from him Dee Jaying and simple abbreviation of birth name. “DJ Jazzy G” better known as the Mixed Tape King in “Decatur” since (1988). Jazzy G started mixing & selling his mix tapes in his parent basement, with demand for his Southern Style forced him to open his own stores in two locations which were located in the Candler Road Flea market and Jonesboro Road flea market. “Ask Kaine” from the (Ying Yang Twins) he ran one of his stores along with some other friends. Jazzy G started his Independent Label Jazzy G Music in 1996. He has been producing and writing music since late 90s. His productions really started to take flight in 1998. He did his first demo with (KAINE) of the (Ying Yang Twins), which was also Kaine’s first demo. He did the remixes for Straight Decatur with artist Bro Flo & You Didn’t Want Me with artist Mr. Parker the list goes on. He has also worked with artist soon to break the industry like Playa Poncho, Jawz of Life, Lil Wicked, Bro Flo, Mr. KU, Inorex III, Mr. Parker and Nina. He is one of the Inventors & Sponsors of the “Baby Freaknic” He Dee jayed all of these events.
