Writeup: Static is Sarafin's followup return to his Late November single 'Kick Rocks. Produced by Toronto's Junia-T with J.Grooves on the guitar, also featuring a verse from label mate, ELMNT. The track starts off with Sarafin reciting "I was hardly home / Now I’m always gone / Pops on the couch / Momma on the phone / Dogs on a leash / Time to put us on" which illustrates how Sarafin's adolescence shaped his future, carrying a sense of knowing himself and his purpose, pulling strength from God and family. ELMNT delivers a verse focused on how the over commercialization of the world around him left his perspective more stoic, starting "Society Blinded, chasing a high like a dog In a dog eat dog environment / Amazon can’t get you deals on it, Can’t expedite it / Thought I’d get high & still get a job like a pilot ". Junia-T's (studio Monk) production adds a level of depth and warmth which reminds you of a vintage record through it's tone, yet marks itself in the world of today's music with his intentionally heavy drums paired with low end.
