The latest addition to Barong Family is a 17-year-old Chinese DJ, producer, singer and songwriter called Chace. The level of artistic maturity on his debut Destination EP is extraordinary, from Chace’s melancholic, muted vocals to the overall depth and liveliness of his arrangements and production. There’s just no doubt about the range of his talents and we feel extremely lucky to have found him. His first release is the fruit of an intense two months of studio sessions, inspired by Chace’s musical roots and surroundings.
