Odea has been making music since she was a little child. Her father tricked her into writing songs by making her believe she wrote songs even though he did it at first. It made her think it was very easy and so she went ahead and wrote song after song all by herself since she was 7. Odea lives to help others and found a way to instil hope in others through her music and songs. She has written over hundreds of songs and with this last CD "Bodyless Soul" she wanted to create a magical journey for you that brings you in the mood of hope for mankind and the spiritual part of life. This CD is a project that Odea has been working on for quite a while and she is now very pleased to post these songs up here for you to listen to. In the past she has written music and lyrics for other artists. One of her accomplishments is making songs together with her brother, Johan Söderqvist who was awarded at Cannes for best film music 2006. He is the composer of several musical tracks on both of European and American movies. She did with him also record for children with some very famous Swedish artists. That CD was called “Till alla barn” and was nominated for the GRAMMY award in Sweden. She has done one solo album before this CD which is called “Utan granser” with the band “Tidlosa”. All those songs on that CD is are in Swedish but ODEA plans to translate to English and release them in the new unit of time so her international supporters can enjoy those songs as well.
