When Shingisai released Tatenda Taona, it was to become the CD that would propel her musical career to heights that she had not seen before. It as an album filled with thankfulness for a very special reason. Ten years earlier, she had been told that her life was hanging on a thread, because she had contracted an illness that came close to taking her life. She was in a coma for some time, from which she rose with very slim prospects from the doctors' report. But when she got out of it, with virtually no symptoms predicted by the doctors, she could only see that God Himself had done it for her. That is what gives meaning to the title "Tatenda Taona."
