Gareth.T - 紧急联络人 继分手歌 "let me know" 后，Gareth.T 推出了全新广东歌《紧急联络人》，亦是他自《国际孤独等级》后本年推出的第二首广东抒情歌。灵感来自韩剧主题曲及配乐的《紧急联络人》散发着一种戏剧性情感，与他早期的作品有着颇大的对比。 歌曲以富感染力的钢琴开展，并以弦乐铺垫苦乐参半的歌词。今次歌词再次由黄伟文谱写，讲述了一段没有开花结果的爱情故事，主角思考着如果在意外中不幸丧生，会否因为紧急联络人的设定而被恋人拯救。 今次《紧急联络人》的MV制作团队特意远赴蒙古拍摄取景，让古装片气势磅礴的风格得以在MV中呈现出来。而Gareth 扮演的主角，无意中夺取了注定要许配给将军的公主的心，令将军因嫉妒而计划谋杀主角，夺回心爱之人。 与之前的作品一样，Gareth 在这首歌中担任了唱作人和制作人的角色。尽管这首歌看似是传统的情歌，但Gareth融入了自己的独特元素，如在副歌部分加入了 Drill 风格的节奏，这种创新的运用在广东抒情歌上是前所未有的！ Gareth.T has released a captivating new Cantopop song titled "emergency contact.” This track follows his previous breakup song, "let me know," and marks his second Cantopop ballad of the year, following "loner anthem." In contrast to his earlier work, "emergency contact" exudes a melodramatic quality and draws inspiration from Korean dramas and OST music. The emotive piano and strings in the song provide a solid foundation and guide the bittersweet lyrics. Speaking of the lyrics penned by renown lyricist Wyman Wong, they tell a sorrowful tale of an unsuccessful love story, contemplating whether the protagonist would be rescued by their lover if they were to meet an untimely demise. The music video for "emergency contact" was filmed in Mongolia and showcases a historical drama style. Gareth portrays the main character, who inadvertently steals the heart of a princess destined to marry a warrior. Fueled by jealousy, the warrior devises a plan to murder the main character and reclaim his beloved. Like previous releases, Gareth took on the role of songwriter and producer for this song, and while it may seem like a conventional love song, he incorporates his signature quirks.
