The album starts with the perfect sonic encapsulation of that "Sage" sound we've all come to enjoy. Soulful with that cocky aura to his delivery, Sage starts the painting by reviewing the past. The album finishes with Sage representing his hood or the "Upperside" as SwanQo sings on the infectious hook sung by another Upperside native T-Swiffa. The album has many peaks and valleys but still remains true to the "Turn Up" that Sage and his team have transcended to from the Soulful days of his past projects. "Friday Night" stands out as the most unique tracks in comparison to other trap/soul influenced production that SwanQo and his assistant producer Sean Allen aka DJ Top Shotta have put together. The carribean flavored tracks, the patoi ridden samples/hooks and African breakdowns in production shows Sage's soulful side through the lens of a backyard punk rock show.
