Street is urban consciousness personified. He's provocative, gritty, and edgy. Though his debut album paints us a clear-eyed, no pretense portrait of the peril and lure of the streets in vivid imagery, his main goal is to deter others from taking the "everyday thug route." Street explains, "I been down this road but you can take one that's better and lighter on you." Street grew up in Brunswick, Georgia. In his early years, he lived in a few housing projects on the south end until his mother could afford to move. He's seen it all-drugs, violence, poverty. He's made some wrong choices but now wants to lead by positive example. "I want to keep kids out of prison," Street says. "I also love to perform. I love how my craft moves people."
