a while back i was struggling with writer's block when i started in on these songs. i wanted to write an entire album without the possibility of people ever hearing it. i don't really know why i'm releasing it. but i hope that you get at least something small from these songs. i wrote and recorded everything in my small bedroom with just one microphone. i bought a guitar just for this album (and then sadly sold it immediately after .. for food). i'm using just one old keyboard, one drum set that literally fell apart every time it was even touched, and a bass guitar that i traded a painting for. the amp i borrowed from an artist that will remain unnamed (since he has no idea i even had it), and i talked miss abby wright into singing a little. the incredible alex stoddard did the front cover photo for me. one day he'll be so famous that he'll buy everyone guitars to make whatever album they want. bree marie followed me around one day when i had to chop down a tree. She took all of the other photos. in the end, aileen quigley oversaw it all and signed off on things to make sure that the entire thing still kept it's imperfections and innocence. as always, none of this would have been possible without chad and gavin. and i would also like to add that everything i've ever learned about recording i just stole from chad. sorry chad. i would also like to thank- robert reynolds mac reynolds paris hill josh orr phil moody micah bell nick arunda my family and the cleveland browns
