What started out as a solo project for lead singer, Cody Bowers, quickly morphed into a project requiring a full band with the addition of drummer, Eric Singer. While the songs grew deeper and bigger, guitarist Dan McDonough, was added as the lead guitarist and the salience of the band begin to appear. Upon release of their independent, self-titled album, the band left on an ambitious US tour playing 27 shows in 34 days. The tour was considered a success as the band secured meetings with both Columbia Records execs, and a journalist from Pitchfork. The band has seen growth in popularity both domestically, and abroad as they've been featured in many international and national music blogs. They have seen regular local and regional radio play . The band is scheduled to tour again in January. They have also headlined The National in Richmond, VA; The Heirloom Arts Theater in Danbury, CT; The Elbo Room in Chicago, IL and have played the main stage at Spaghetti Fest 11.
