Chase Bell’s “Ain’t Funkin’ Around” is an apt title for this 70’s funk inspired modern pop EP which delivers in rockstar quality with sex, drugs, and rock & roll references throughout. Chase wrote and self produced these 4 songs in 2016 as he embraced his abilities as a guitarist and pop singer on stage in Los Angeles, inspiring local audiences with his guitar and vocal abilities. Each of the 4 songs on the EP have a similar groove with synths and crushing/funky guitars grooving around fun lyrical themes. From Chase’s first lyric, “your love is like a drug” to his last phrase “party like a rockstar,” this EP keeps your energy high through 15 minutes of tasty and memorable pop songs produced through highly sexualized, modernized, and funkified musical landscapes. The scandalous music video for the song "Turn Me On" is available to watch on Youtube and other video services and features the amazing choreography by dancer/actress Alessia Bonacci alongside Jessie Levine, art direction by Perry White and was directed by Richard Salazar.
