简介

HUGO This was the first song recorded by Andrew Menan aka GENO and Paul Rivers Bailey who make up PG-13. There's a folky, bluesy quality that comes from a rare resonating ukulele. Ravi's Song An instrumental song in a rare tuning that explores the different harmonics on a super small Baby Taylor acoustic guitar. The song is dedicated to Ravi Shankar. Motown Sound The second collaboration between GENO & Paul Rivers Bailey in PG-13. This time they join forces with a Chester County Band called the New Locals. With Dave Wilson on an amazing electronic piano, Rich Davis shredding lead guitar on a Telecaster, Doug Clark groovin on BASS & Jim Wood playing a rock solid Motown Drum Kit- Paul & GENO found a great ode to the FUNK Brothers and all the great sounds of Motown. 4046 The first song from the East Bradford Ukulele Club- GENO & Matt Smith have been childhood friends and their first show was at Matt's wedding! This song is a rhythmic play between the 2 ukulele's. GENO's main guitar lead was heavily influenced by studying Django Reinhardt, and the song is even mixed as a MONO song in honor of the old jazz recordings. Double A An instrumental song recorded on an iphone at GENO's family beach house at the Jersey Shore. It's a unique rhythm, one that is enhanced when you can hear the ocean. Same Chance GENO's close family friend, Craig Miller, wrote this song before GENO was ever born. When GENO decided to make a solo record- he wanted to cover one of Craig's Songs. But since Craig never got a chance to record it professionally, GENO & Craig & Doug Clark & Mike DiBartolomeo got together and created a song that could have been recorded in the late 70's. This is SAME CHANCE for the first time!!! Time Drunk This is 3 instruments- all played by GENO- recorded in his bedroom. The resonating Ukulele, electric guitar and acoustic guitar. I'll Be GONE GENO brings his storytelling and filmmaking background to this part spoken word, trippy song about a mother who dies before her time. There's acoustic guitar, electric harmonica and a super old pump piano played by Mike B. It's believed the piano is from the 1890's or older. Song for Wes Geno & Doug on Bass & Mike Di on drums- here's a little jazz interlude to freshen up your evening. Night to My Self An experimental tune with a raw energy. GENO's friend & engineer Jeremiah had brought in a tiny toy like guitar. GENO loved the sound and made this song. Yep Solo resonating ukulele. Dustin Hoffman GENO and his many voices with Doug Clark on an electronic drum kit. This was one of the first songs recorded in a small attic studio in Kennett Square, PA. There were many cats in the room as well.
