Hart & Hare is an electric-indie duo from Portland, OR. Their vocal harmonies and sonic textures recall ***** and the Dirty Projectors, while a mixture of drum machine beats, reverb and stringed instruments allude to bands like The Postal Service, Beach House, and the XX. Formed in the winter of 2012 by two friends, Hart & Hare's debut album "And Action" mixes the duo's disparate styles into a melodious whole. Their unique brand of bedroom rock has the ethereal qualities of other dream pop outfits while still staying anchored in a more personal style of songwriting.
