Louie Lou is a Christian/Gospel Rapper, Songwriter, Producer and Entrepreneur in the Fresno/Sanger California area. From an early age, Louie Lou found his passion and talent in music. Being exposed to a variety of music through his uncle, a local D.J., at the age of 8 years old he started to make his own beats (tracks). The love of music drove Louie Lou to start to save money from his own landscaping business towards purchasing musical equipment piece by piece. One experience that Louie Lou mentions is remembering from way back when he would record his beats (tracks) to cassete tapes and sell them around his home town. One day while driving with his parents, he played a song he had recorded on a CD. When they asked, “Who is this?” they decided to get serious about pursuing his musical career. By the age of 16, he produced, wrote and recorded his self titled debut album “Louie Lou”. The album was released at the National Apostolic Youth Convention in Long Beach California in 2005 under his self created label, “Reel Fonky Productions”. Louie Lou hasn’t stopped there. He has continued to build his own recording studio and is working on a second album titled “The Next Level” and hopes to release it October 23rd 2010. Louie Lou performs at local events, churches, and venues across the Central Valley. In 2007, he participated in the Christian Music Awards in Fresno California. Louie Lou is unique in his approach to Gospel Music. He is able to spread the gospel to people all over from young to old and give People a new outlook on how rap can be lyrically uplifting and modern. Louie Lou brings a positive message to younger generations and shows how Gospel/Christian music can be cool and inspiring through music and Christian based lyrics.
