The phrase “It’s showtime!” has been used to describe countless events, from movies to plays to sporting events. Regardless, anytime someone says those famous words, everyone listening knows something big is about to happen. Rockford rapper Jesse Sanchez may be that something big. Better known as “ShowTime,” Sanchez looks to be on the fast track to being a household name. ShowTime is currently working on his highly anticipated second album titled "Angels and Demons" set to release in late 2010-early 2011. Album contains approximately 24 tracks and 75 minutes all done by 28 Grams productions with other artists featured as well. "Angels and Demons" will be released online through CDBaby and digital partners with online promotion. Booking shows, finishing his album as well as the Smoke Good album are ShowTime's main focuses right now. Lyrics like "feels like everyday and night I go through the same routines, different faces, diffrerent scenes, with the same struggles, different dreams, different hustles but we all chasing the same things" from "never ends" on his new album show where his mind state is at and how he has grown as an artist since his first album "The Wait is Over it's ShowTime" released in early 2009.
