Anyone who has experienced a live MIKA performance knows that it is difficult to return to his album immediately thereafter. I had to give myself time to forget about his energy and how incredible he sounded in person before I could settle back down to Life in Cartoon Motion from my computer speakers. Since I saw this concert recording on all of the European stores a few weeks ago, I had been hoping Apple would transfer it to availability in the US. It's as though they read my mind. All of the songs are equally impressive, and the guitar riff on the Sweet Dreams cover is particularly filthy (stellar). Definitely worth a purchase for MIKA fans and a good way to give those unfamiliar with his music a taste of his style. This set is a prime sample of sonic euphoria.
