DESTROID is a Midwestern rap-duo from Downriver, MI., comprised of two key members, SiNToNiC (a.k.a. Joe Talluto) and BADOS (a.k.a. Chris Barbeito). Both artists; write, produce and perform all original music. Together they infuse various styles of old school hip-hop, underground rap, rock & roll and electro; forming a unique take on modern music. Through intrinsic melodies and catchy lyrics they express raw and bitter emotions that blast through the sound spectrum at full speed. From party music like “Soul Nation” to everyday real life like “My Dro”, this duo visits every avenue of life and displays it vividly through imaginative lyrics and mind bending music. It all started before they even knew it started. In the late 90’s, Bados and Tonic along with other neighborhood friends began writing and recording songs for the pure pleasure of it. After 10 years of playing in different bands and creating a style of their own, the duo came back together to form DESTROID. In early 2010 the duo released their very first official EP "The Chronicles of Bados and Tonic". Since then the boys have been doing shows locally in the South-East Michigan area and working on new material. The duo did take a 2 year brake from music and concentrated on what they like to call "real life" but now the time has come once again to kick it back into gear and go all out for the year 2013 with a brand new, full length album, "At Birth/Til Death". This album is a true example of dedication and passion. "This is definitely our best effort so far" -Tonic. With songs like "Breathen" and "Never Fall Back", where they discuss the trials and frustrations in making it in the music business and songs like "DDK2" were they pay tribute to their fan base, this band is all about getting in to real life topics but also entertaining listeners with good time music.
