This EP is incredibly spiritual. The first three songs, starting with 'The Away Prayer,' focus on vocals that you would need to experience in a calm space, while sitting down, so that you can truly feel them. We incorporate samples of nature and people to create ambiance. The last three songs combine vocals and production, bringing the music to life. 'Moving Away' delves into my journey of leaving home to create my own. Simultaneously, it presents the challenges and triumphs that have unfolded during the creation of this masterpiece. This encompasses themes of love, loss, gain, and the protective presence of both God and ancestors. This EP stands apart from the usual day-to-day music we hear. It offers an unforgettable experience. The goal for this EP is not just to break streaming records, but to craft a timeless sound that endures. Someday, these sounds might be sampled by others, and that is our purpose.
