For Nanuk, the inspiration comes from all of life's little surprises, special moments that have a lasting impact and spontaneous actions. A beam of light through black rain clouds, a plant growing through the roadside paving, a giant bear walking on ice in the arctic... things that defy logic but happen and demonstrate the power behind life. The music is meant to have a similar effect, to remind you of a moment, to strike a thought in your mind, to open your eyes to something. In the tracks you will find an eclectic use of instruments ranging from electronic to acoustic.
