In my community many of the people who are given authority over us such as teachers, law enforcement and government officials don't even feel like we can or will succeed so the value they put on you as a person is less which helps reinforce the loser in us. If you don't maintain a certain level of social status they consider you a loser. I've been through it all. I've had the record deal that I thought would make me a star yet it failed to do anything for me. I've had $1.8 million dollars worth of stock in a company and watched it drop down to $0. NOT WINNING! I've had many ups and downs that life brings and while life will try to make you a loser, it's up to you to make yourself a winner.
