"Happy for Good" is the 2nd Blues album released by independent Israeli award winning band – the Ori Naftaly Band. The album is an electric Blues, Funk, Rock and Soul album which will be released on May 15th, 2013. After touring the Netherlands (September 2012) and the States (January-February 2013); and after making it to the 2013 International Blues Challenge semifinals (IBC) in Memphis, Tennessee, the band has begun working on their own materials for their 2nd album. The songs in the album were written by Eleanor Tsaig (band vocalist and headliner) and composed by Ori Naftaly (founder and lead guitarist of the band). The album, which consists of 8 songs, was produced by Ori Naftaly and musically arranged by the whole band. Ori Naftaly, founder, producer, composer and guitar player for the band, has been leading it since November 2011. "Happy for Good" portrays a variety of musical influences from genres such as Soul, Funk, Rock and even some Boogie. The combination of these influences with the traditional Blues harmony and rhythm create a modern yet Blues-roots-oriented album. After 2 tours over the last year and a 3rd tour coming up in the States again (June-July 2013), Ori Naftaly Band bring their live electric feel and energy to the studio. Recorded live at Luna Studios Tel Aviv, their passion and musical style come through – and you can tell from the very first track that it's all about Live Blues for this band. "Happy for Good" presents the multi-talent that exists within this band. The strong vocals and guitar at the front of this band manifest a unique new perspective on the same old Blues. Ori Naftaly's depth of riffs and extensions cannot go without saying, as he combines old school Blues with his own rich and refreshing style. Eleanor Tsaig once again showcases her powerful vocal abilities, brilliant control over the dynamics of her voice, warmth and deep soul. Israeli Best Blues Act simply raises the bar for itself one more time with the accomplished talent that exists from the rhythm section to the power of the Hammond Organ. The simple charisma and unique and entangled bond of music are profoundly reflected in "Happy for Good". ---- The songs in "Happy for Good" explain the band's journey from its beginning. The Ori Naftaly Band released their debut album in January 2012, began performing in Israel, and in September 2013 flew to the Netherlands for a 3 week tour. Right after returning to Israel, the band participated and won the Israel Blues Competition, which granted their participation in the IBC in Memphis, Tennessee. After 2 months the band then flew to Memphis and represented Israel among 200 other bands from all over the world. Ori Naftaly Band is the first Israeli band to have made it to the IBC semifinals, and was also the band that sold the largest amount of CDs throughout the competition. During their visit to the USA, Ori Naftaly Band performed in B. B. King's Blues Club in Memphis and continued their trip after the competition to perform in Chicago. During their Chicago tour the band played in several venues, including being the headliner for one of the oldest Blues clubs in the world - "B.L.U.E.S on Halsted". From the very beginning of its activity, with the release of their first album, Ori Naftaly Band have won awards which put the band in the same category as some of the most well-known Blues-Rock artists world-wide. The album was titled as the Best Blues Album in Holland for 2012 (bluesmagazine.nl); the Best Israeli Debut Album by 88FM Radio Charts; and the album was selected for 2nd place in the category of Best Debut Album by Wasser-Prauda magazine.   In June-July 2013, Ori Naftaly Band will be touring the USA once again to promote their new album.
