Stories In Trance proudly presents our 49th release, a collaboration between two of Eastern Europe's up and coming producers, Alex Blest & Stonewave with Ethereal. This three track single includes the original and remixes by Lev Rubel and David Surok which perfectly demonstrates the diversity of our releases. Hailing from the Ukraine, Alex Blest (Alexej Negodujko) is new to the scene with this first release while his co-producer on this project Stonewave (Russian artist Alexander Novoselov), has had three remixes to date on Liftedsounds & Morphosis. The original is an energetic and truly uplifting track with a memorable lead melody, powerful mids and excellent layering making this really stand out. Expect lots more from these two budding producers in the future. The first remix is from another of Ukraine's talented newcomers in the shape of Lev Rubel. Lev made his production debut for Stories In Trance with his track Insomnia as featured on the Tibbs EP (SIT #44) in October 2012 and puts his undoubted talent to work with this fantastic interpretation of Ethereal. With a progressive flavour, sublime layering and beautifully subtle mids supporting the already well defined lead melody, this truly is a delightful, feel good remix. The second interpretation comes from Hungarian David Surok who made his production debut with the two track single Sunrise / Sunset (SIT #47) in Autumn 2012. With this remix David once again shows why Stories In Trance has high hopes for him. He stays quite close to the original adding subtle little tweaks to the lead melody along with excellent layering to underpin this uplifting monster- a fine piece of remixing. Look out for more exciting work from David very soon. Stories In Trance aims to uncover the most talented and imaginative new producers and team up with some of the more established names in the scene to work together in evolving the sound. This release sticks firmly to our philosophy of not only showcasing a diverse range of sounds within trance, but also offering balanced releases by seeking out those that can interpret the original in a different way.
