Dream Pop, also referred to as “shoegaze” and “hypnogogic pop”, is a subgenre of alternative rock that began in the early 1990s in the UK with artists such as Cocteau Twins and Slowdive adding rich sonic textures – such as synths and reverberated guitars – to their music to give it unique, “dream like” qualities. It was perhaps first coined by Rolling Stones writer Simon Reynolds in 1991, who stated that these groups should be called “dream pop” because the name “evokes these groups’ blurry, blissful sound and out-of-this-world aura”. 那种梦幻微醺就像烟雾能萦绕在你身旁，给你一种感觉，好像自己在海边或者在一辆飞驰的列车上，在路边看着旁边金黄的油菜花的那种感觉，总而言之得做一个歌单来放下这些好歌
