Lucky Roots is a reggae group from Beijing, founded by Nyah Jahwise and Cece Natty in 2016. Since its inception, Lucky Roots has been dedicated to bringing people to experience the rich reggae culture and the party atmosphere of Sound Syetem, and has been committed to delivering the power of love through music in the spirit of Rastafari. On music, Lucky Roots has been exploring and expecting to bring the audience the most comprehensive Reggae experience. Both the early Rocksteady, Roots Reggae, Lover’s Rock, Dub, Dancehall and Steppa, Drum n Bass, Jungle which evolved in the modern times have been reflected in music of Lucky Roots. It is known to have come from as far away as Jamaica, flying thousands of miles to the ancient east with a delightful rhythm. Reggae music has the rhythm of traditional root music, making people unconsciously dance. Chinese folk music and mountain clouds shuttle among them, let the music in the melody on a higher level. The two complement each other inadvertently, and they are strong, and it is the collision and fusion of various cultures again and again that create the unique Lucky Roots. With the rapid economic development in China, Lucky Roots spread love and peace, ideal and hope with notes. Their songs care about people's livelihood and call on people to live a positive life and feel life with love. The lyrics embody the antagonism to negative energy and boundless love, which is the purpose of Rastafari's religion.
