简介：2013 is MIDTSOMMER – especially for the KEIMZEIT AKUSTIK QUINTETT. The album of the same title by the band featuring Norbert Leisegang was recorded just in the midst of the year at Ocean Sound Recordings in Giske near Ålesund. Now, its release on January 04, 2013 rings in a predominantly acoustic year for the audiophile acousticians of Keimzeit. Founded four years ago with mainly performances on theater stages and invitational events – that is the band history in short.

Next to song writer and singer Leisegang, the focus is on violinist Gabriele Kienast from Wismar. The repertoire includes interpretations of Keimzeit classics, international film music like "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" or "In the mood for love", a dash of French, as well as instrumental pieces of their own. Hartmut Leisegang on the contrabass provides the rhythmical basis, supported by Christian Schwechheimer on the percussion instruments. Both give the soloists a secure framework for the acoustic worlds, which are delicate and acute at the same time.

With the release of the album MIDTSOMMER, the guitarist and singer Martin Weigel becomes a permanent member of the band. They are now standing on stage as a quintet and may give free rein to their ambitions. A gemstone in the analog sound structure – MIDTSOMMER.
