小简介： 三个来自於纽约布鲁克林的年轻女子 Heather D'Angelo (主唱/键盘乐器/打击乐器) Erika Forster (主唱/键盘乐器/) Annie Hart (主唱/键盘乐器/) Au Revoir Simone于2003年组成，当时好朋友三人一有时间就会聚到ERIKA的家里，把一堆电子合成器摆到一起玩耍，最后ERIKA客厅中摆放的乐器越来越多，而在这个过程中这三个好朋友也创出了许多非常清新和独特的音乐，她们当时的主旨就是如果一首歌曲不成形，或者是听起来不完美，那么她们就一定会忘记时间的存在，直到把一首作品作的完美，然后才会去做其它的事情。 随后AU REVOIR SIMONE乐团走出了在客厅演奏的日子，那是2004年的冬天，乐队为ERIKA的键盘老师所在的乐队担任了开场的工作，那也是乐队的第一场演出。之后乐队在美国境内开始了一次又一次的小型巡演。然后乐队吸引了唱片公司的目光，并且发行了首张专辑《Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation》，该专辑在日本和英国上市引起了轰动。接下来在间隔不到一年的时间里乐队又发行了第二张专辑《The Bird Of Music》，该专辑收录了《he Lucky One》 、《Sad Song》 、《Fallen Snow》 、《Dark Halls》等著名单曲，通过该专辑，乐团走进了主流媒体的视线，同时乐团也成为了电影大师大卫•林奇的心水最爱之宝团。 乐队随后开始了马不停蹄的大规模巡演，从北美到欧洲，再从欧洲到日本，此时，与她们一起巡演的伙伴已经成了AIR、PETER BJORN AND JOHN 等著名乐团。 2009年5月份乐队发行了第三张专辑《STILL NIGHT STILL LIGHT》， 专辑发行后得到NME、VOGUE 、Q、I-D、NYLON 、SPIN、ROLLING STONE 、Uncut 、Guardian 、Pitchfolkmedia 等全球顶级媒体联手推荐。 The Brooklyn indie pop outfit Au Revoir Simone features Heather D'Angelo (vocals/drum machine/keyboard), Erika Forster (vocals/keyboard), and Annie Hart (vocals/keyboard). Borrowing their name from a minor character in Tim Burton's comedy favorite Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, the Casio-centric group came together in late 2003; Forster and Hart befriended one another while traveling by train from Vermont to New York. From there, they became fast friends and began writing songs. D'Angelo and Sung Bin Park (keyboard/vocals) were added to the dreamy pop fray after sitting in on many practice sessions, but Park left in January 2005 to pursue other projects. A year later, Au Revoir Simone issued their debut album, Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation. It was self-released in the United States and appeared on Moshi Moshi throughout Europe. "Through the Backyards" was included in the season finale to Grey's Anatomy in spring 2006. Au Revoir Simone's second album, The Bird of Music, was released on Moshi Moshi Records one year later.
