The song has been described by Sharmila Tredger of The Examiner as having "..nurtured accents of The Lumineers and Phillip Phillips" and "possesses all the ingredients of a number 1 hit". In October 2014, Xander hit the road with rock icon Melissa Etheridge for her This Is M.E. national tour to promote his single "Made For You". The single received positive reaction from Triple A radio and has gained heavy rotation on SiriusXM's Adult Top 40 station "The Pulse". Alexander Cardinale has made special appearances to promote the single including the upcoming ABC Music Lounge show in Burbank California on May 15, 2015. "Made For You" is the first single off of Xander's upcoming 2015 EP titled "Digital Youth".
