简介：Unscarred is a thrash metal band which was formed in South Louisiana in 1990, originally under the moniker "Thunderhead". In 1991, after several changes, the band's lineup solidified with Vinnie Bullara on guitar and vocals, Mike Deranger on guitar, Duncan McBride on Bass, and Jeremy Peck on Drums. The band then changed its name to Unscarred.   Unscarred was a cover band which played songs by the bands they grew up on: Anthrax, Slayer, Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies, Megadeth, Death Angel, etc. After cementing a large local following the band began writing its own original material. This led to the release of their first album, Brutality Thru Heaviness, in 1994. With the help of the biggest metal band in South Louisiana during that time, R.I.P. (aka PowerTribe), Unscarred was able to broaden its fan base and play more shows outside of their hometown.   Just as Unscarred really began to gain momentum, metal "died" and the so-called grunge movement momentarily took over. In response, the band changed its name to "Atomic God" and began writing even heavier music to counteract the awful music coming out in the 90s. The band performed their last show just days before Christmas at the Grand Theatre in 1995.   Unable to stay away from doing what they love, Unscarred has reformed and is currently re-recording their 1994 debut album, as well as working on a new album.   Members: Vinnie Bullara, Mike Deranger, Kurk Dugas, Brian Snelling   Influence: Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Crowbar, Slayer, Exodus, Exhorder, Death Angel, etc.
