简介：I want to create electronic music that knows no bounds or overdone sounds. I want to take music with soul and recreate it. I want to bring back music from the decades and teach people about the groove.

2013 has been immense so far. Defunk has recently come back from a successful tour in the UK and in Australia, and all three of his Beatport releases have hit number #1 in their respective genres with the newly released "Welcome to Groove City" EP hitting #10 on Beatport overall. Big thanks to Simplify Recordings for releasing "Spells" and High Chai Recordings for releasing "Retro Baby." Who knows what the next year will hold in store for Defunk now that he has turned the heads of Pretty Lights and Opiuo to name a few.
