简介：Haevn is a Dutch music duo from Amsterdam that was founded in 2015. It consists of singersongwriter Marijn van der Meer and film music composer Jorrit Kleijnen. This combination leads to a cinematic sound with piano, strings but also up-tempo synth pop. Biography：HAEVN was formed when film composer Jorrit Kleijnen and singer songwriter Marijn van der Meer were paired for a commercial video. This collaboration resulted in Where the heart is that was picked up for a commercial for the car manufacturer Volvo and Finding out more that could be heard in a BMW commercial . The songs of just 30 seconds reached Shazam's international charts , after which they decided to work out complete songs with Tim Bran, which also produces for the British trip-hop band London Grammar and Birdy .<br/>With the addition of guitarist Tom Veugen and drummer David Broeders the band Haevn came into being and on 17 September 2015 the first gig followed during the Popronde . Radio channel 3FM proclaimed the band Serious Talent in October 2015 . After the announcement at DWDD , the Grote Zaal Paradiso (Amsterdam) sold out on 21 May 2016 in 4 days. They were nominated for an Edison in 2016 and a 3FM Award for Best Newcomer . Both Finding out more and Bright lights ended up in the top20 of Song of the Year and came in late December 2016Finding out more entered the Top 2000 at position 1321 and also in 2017 he was on the list.<br/>Haevn played at major festivals such as Eurosonic Noorderslag , Paaspop (Schijndel) , Dauwpop , Retropop , Indian Summer Festival , Concert at Sea , Huntenpop Appelpopand Royal Park Live at Soestdijk Palace .<br/>On 2 April 2017 they were with a new band member, bassist Mart Jeninga, and the Red Limo String Quartet in a sold out Royal Theater Carré . At the end of 2017, after an overwhelming international application, Fortitude was released that had just been given in the Netflix series Riverdale .<br/>Haevn was signed by Warner Music Group and so 2018 could start well with two shows at Eurosonic Noorderslag with the new guitarist Bram Doreleijers. On 23 February, during their sold-out Show in the Great Hall of Paradiso (Amsterdam) , a Golden Plate for Finding Out More was awarded by Giel Beelen. In May, the single Back in the Water came out, followed by a successful Eyes Closed tour in April in the six major halls of the country.<br/>Due to its international success, the debut album Eyes Closed will be released on 25 May 2018 not only in the Netherlands but also internationally and will follow their first international show in Paris
