Love Inks is an all-girl, Austin, Texas three-piece that exercises restraint in their take on chillwave, with Sherry LeBlanc’s soothing voice fronting a dreamy mix of guitar, bass, and vintage drum machine beats. Just before the trio played their hometown’s SXSW festival in 2011, Love Inks released their debut album ESP, in March on City Slang. That same month, European label Hell, Yes! released a 7” single of “Blackeye.”
