The DLC (DeFade/Lo Castro) project is the next phase of a musical collaboration that features the composing and performance talents of Francesco Lo Castro, Eric DeFade, and TonyDepaolis. The group released a trio effort in early 2013 entitled ‘While we hope and dream’. The recording was well received by critics and music lovers alike for its intimacy and melody driven introspection. After completing a highly successful U.S. tour in the spring of 2013, the trio immediately began production on the new project. "Into the unknown" is a collection of highly original and dynamic compositions that explores many different aspects of group interaction. While reaffirming the group's commitment to melody, "Into the unknown" also features a more rhythmic and groove oriented offering . With the addition of Tom Wendt on drums, "Into the unknown" well represents the conceptual evolution of these extremely talented and unique musicians.
