Apex Zero has come a long way to emerge as one of the most impressive artists in the UK Hip Hop scene today, a status cemented and enhanced following the release and critical acclaim of his debut solo album "Reality Provoking Liberation" in October 2013. A powerful lyricist with keen insight and an unmatchable flow, as an emcee he learned from the greats and developed his own identity. In his production, he has allowed his eclectic listening to blend with his Hip Hop influences. Apex built his reputation as one member of the underground London Hip Hop group First and Last, performing on the live scene alongside the city's finest emcees and DJs. After performing around the UK and Europe following his album's impact, Apex began hosting Reggae, DnB, Jungle and Bass music events with veteran London underground DJ Steaz and became involved with I Am Hip-Hop Magazine, expressing his views on Hip Hop and its connection to society. Aiming to broaden his horizons Apex Zero travelled to Beijing in 2014, performing at events around the city and became the resident emcee for The Syndicate, Beijing's leading Bass music crew. With his reputation growing, Apex spent 2015 and 2016 performing around China, supporting international artists and headlining at a number of festivals and events across Asia. Apex's next project 'All and Nothing' is set for release in May 2017. The EP captures the artistic growth inspired by his travels. It features collaborations with pioneering Chinese Hip Hop/Reggae artist MC Webber aka Raddam Ras, New York emcee Jackson Turner, Cameroonian/French Reggae singers UBC and fellow First and Last member OMeza Omniscient and production from OMeziah, Frank Freeman, GI and In:Theory.
