"Now and Then" is a mini-CD that features 5 unique cuts covering the time period following Buckner & Garcia's hit single and album "Pac Man Fever" to the present. The first cut, "Hostage", is their most current recording featuring politically charged lyrics addressing events in America today. The second cut, "E.T. I Love You" was their 3rd and final release for CBS Records. Embroiled in an inter-label conflict with Neil Diamond's song, "Heartlight", the song was held up and not released until the fall of 1982 assuring it little chance for success. "Mr.T", the third cut, was a tribute song to Mr.T who played the highly popular character B. A. Baracus on the hit TV show, "The A-Team." Cut 4, "I Gotta Hear The Beat" is another current recording that is a remake of the first ever B&G written song released on a national label. The final track, cut 5 was a tribute to skateboarding released in 1985 called, "Loose In The Streets. "
